As song as Lou moved away from home, he would buy a dishwasher. He would never wash another dish again. His mom said dishes helped him build responsibility and character. He disagreed. Before he would could find a place to move , however, he needed a job. He pored through advertisements, filled out applications, and sent in resumes all to no avail.

One evening, he saw a sign in a restaurant window: “now Hiring.” Lou stepped inside.

“I don't care what position is. I need a job,” Lou told the manager.

“You’re hired,” the manager replied. ”We need a dishwasher .”

卢一旦搬离家里，他要买个洗碗机。他再也不要洗碗了。他妈说碗能帮他构建责任和品性，他可不这么认为。在他找到新地儿可住之前，他需要一份工作。他仔细研究小广告，填写申请并发送简历都无济于事。

某晚，他看见一餐馆橱窗上“正在招聘”的启示。卢移步入店。

“我不在乎什么职位，我需要一份工作，”卢告诉经理。

“你被录用了，”经理回复。“我们需要一个洗碗工。”
