    首先，英语的介词/前置词 Preposition 是很难完全对等直译的，因此不能说这个as 和 for 是什么意思，只能说它们在句中有何作用。

    well-known 一词意思是“闻名”，这个词之后可配不同的前置词：

    well-known as artists  作为艺术家而闻名
    well-known for the art work  因其艺术作品而闻名
    well-known to all the people  被/为众人所认识

    这句话可理解为：

    1. The Zunis are also very well-known as artists

    2. The Zunis are also very well-known for their beautiful jewelry made of silver and turquoise

    as 以何种身份或具有哪方面的知名度。从also 来看，the zuins 具有多重身份.

    for 以其独有的或擅长的某种工艺而知名。

    英语要求逻辑明确，汉语的“因为”二字的逻辑过于宽泛和模糊了。

    对着腕表大的玩意儿说。
    up这个词用的很多，eat up， used up, 之类的，我感觉会是尽、完之类的意思。就是打好作业，打完作业。
