 It is with great excitement and anticipation that we are beginning the 2013-2014 school year at Bright Start Academy. We are suggesting that parents send the following items with their child to school: 我们期待已久的新学期2013-2014年终于开学了。我们建议家长为您的孩子准备以下用品：
• Backpack 背包
• Water Bottle 水壶
• Toothbrush/toothpaste/cup 牙刷、牙膏和牙刷杯
• One complete change of clothes 一套替换的衣服
• Blanket/quilt/sheet for naptime (to be sent home on Fridays) 毯子、被子、被褥（星期五带回家）
• Special blanket and/or stuffed animal (for comfort) 枕头或毛绒玩具
• Picture of the family 家庭成员照片
• Baby wipes (wet wipes) in a small Ziplock bag with child’s name 装有幼儿湿巾带孩子名字的小拉链包
• Extra pair of shoes or slippers 室内鞋子
• Diapers, if still not potty trained 尿布，如果孩子还不会使用厕所
 Each day our communication book will be sent home. Please make sure you read it and return it in your child’s backpack daily.每天我们会有一本联系手册带回家，请您确认阅读并交给您的孩子带回幼儿园。
 If your child uses a pacifier or needs a special blanket/stuffed animal, etc., please let the teacher know. If this needs to be returned nightly, please let the teacher know that as well. 如果您的孩子需要奶嘴或者需要毯子毛绒玩具等物品，请告诉他的老师。如果需要每天更换，也同样告诉您孩子的老师。
我很欣赏BSA的理念：we are not teaching English,We are teaching in English! 确实如此，除了中文课，任何课程都有可能用英文教授，总觉得这才是学语言的精髓，不是为了学语言而学语言，语言只是工具，有了它，能让我们学习更多的学科！我们在家里倒也没进行过系统的数学启蒙，小家伙的数学启蒙居然是用英文来开启的，呵呵，有点出乎意料！
