Tuck up or Tuck in
这两个词组都是我们在睡觉的时候常用的词组，意思是盖好被子，掖一掖被子的意思， 在peppa 当中的 tuck in 是指 George 和Mr. Dinosaur 睡在一个被子里。
按照惯例，我把字典的解释放在下面，在英式英语中，tuck in 有3个意思：
1，盖被子；
2，吃饭狼吞虎咽；
3，把衣服的下角放进裤子里或者用皮带系好衣服。

我觉得大家对于口音不要太计较，孩子越小的时候，可塑性越大，看PEPPA的时候，他觉得PEPPA可爱，可能模仿PEPPA说话的语气会更多一些哦，等过一段时间不看PEPPA了，改看卡由了，他又喜欢上卡由了，那他模仿卡由的说话方式又会更多点， 他们在应对这些口音变化的时候会比大人更从容。
再说点题外话：
这个星期接待了两批客人，前面一个是在美国住了10年的德国人； 他的口音我一听就知道不是本地人，但是一点也不妨碍我们的交流，我们在沟通时，即使是谈到一些很专业的，技术性的问题，也完全没有问题。
第二批是两位来自旧金山的客人，虽然来自同一个地方但有不同的口音，有一位年长者在我听来是很标准的美语，他是对方公司的商务谈判代表，他给大家介绍的时候，大家都很容易听懂；而另外一位年轻一点的口音更重点，舌头更卷，鼻音更重，再又说得快，他是公司的CEO但是偏技术方面，有关产品的介绍由他负责，所以谈到技术方面的问题，对于我这个外行来说（我是偏商务的）有时真得努力想一下才能明白过来。
以上的举例，是想说其实在语言的交流中，口音完全不是问题，主要还是讲话的内容和表达的方式，我们这些做商务的，因为接触的人多，什么样的英语水平都有， 所以平时一直在沟通交流，一直也在修正自己的讲话方式，如何说能让对方听懂是一种技巧，这不仅需要语言能力，还需要历练，所以，孩子多接触不同的口音是有好处的，大人不要太在意。

I beg your pardon，就是“I'm sorry, can you say it again" 对不起，请再说一遍好吗？ 这是一个固定说法，如果对话双方熟了，也可以一个“pardon”就行了， 我刚认识虎爸的时候对他的口音很不适应，那时候说了很多pardon...
