April 23. Today we are done with Unit 4.
Here is the writing part:
Little Rabbit closed his eyes. He didn't hear anything. But then he heard a big thump. He opened his eyes, and he saw a banana right in front of him.He peeled the peel and ate it up. Yummy! He said.

今天学习Main Selection: The Kite from Days with Frog and Toad
这个故事系列以前看过绘本。今天读了三遍，没有做练习。最后一遍表演了一下讲故事，用ipad录了音，留作记录。
朗读要读得好还是很不容易的，要控制语速、气息，声情并茂。这次读得上气不接下气的，以后要多练习。

Finished Spelling and first two pages in On Pace Practice.
Spelling: r in American English: car, art, barn, yarn
On Pace Practice: Cause and Effect -- very important notions!

完成了写作练习，完成情况不是很好。
最近两个Theme， Toad and FrogWhistle for Wille，都是讲试图做一件原来很难的事情，做了好几次都不成功，然后不断努力，最终完成。有点励志的意思，但是课本并没有直接把结论或者教育意义点出来，而是启发孩子自己思考，自己得出结论。
